Earlier today the Boston Bruins announced the team has returned forward Cedric Pare back to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. After a solid showing in July’s annual Development Camp and Rookie/Main Training Camps which ended recently, the B’s organization found it fitting for both sides to return the 6′-2″ 205-pound center back to the Canadian Junior ranks to be with last season’s Saint John’s Sea Dogs Presidents Cup Champion team for another year of development.

Selected by the Bruins in the seventh round of the 2017 National Hockey League Entry Draft held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, the Patrice Bergeron look-a-like posted  5-11-16 numbers as a fourth-line center during his first regular season with the Sea Dogs in 2016-17. He also contributed three points in 18 QMJHL Presidents Cup Playoff games and had two goals in four games during the Mastercard Memorial Cup which was held in Windsor, Ontario, home of the 2017 Cup Winning Windsor Spitfires.

Most likely the 18-year-old Pare was released from the Bruins training camp in time to join his Sea Dogs team which is set to start the 2017-18 regular season with a contest against the Halifax Mooseheads this Thursday night from the Harbour Station Arena in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
