Black N’ Gold Weekly is a weekly Boston Bruins show on YouTube hosted by Jon Duncan. Duncan is a lifelong hockey fan who played the sport for over ten years growing up. While the Bruins are the Massachusetts native’s favorite team, he has been covering the entire NHL on YouTube since 2017. He, along with guests, will discuss the biggest Bruins stories each and every week. Sit back, relax, and get ready for a fun and knowledgeable show where no opinion will be held back.
Episode 1 Summary
In the debut episode of Black N’ Gold Weekly, Jon is joined by Massachusetts native and huge Bruins fan Danny Jaillet. They begin by discussing the departure of captain Zdeno Chara and then get into whether or not the Bruins will add another defenseman before the season starts. The focus then shifts to the rest of the Bruins offseason; including the loss of Torey Krug, the re-signing of Jake DeBrusk, and the signing of Craig Smith. Next, Jon and Danny talk about some moves the Bruins didn’t make, but were rumored to be kicking the tires on. This includes possibly signing Mike Hoffman and a potential trade for Noah Hanifin. With the offseason covered, the guys then look ahead to this coming season and what it might bring for the Bruins. Towards the end, they touch on their feelings about Tuukka Rask heading into this year. Finally they close out the show with one simple question: will the Bruins make the playoffs?
