Black N’ Gold Weekly is a weekly Boston Bruins show on YouTube hosted by Jon Duncan. Duncan is a lifelong hockey fan who played the sport for over ten years growing up. While the Bruins are the Massachusetts native’s favorite team, he has been covering the entire NHL on YouTube since 2017. He, along with guests, will discuss the biggest Bruins stories each and every week. Sit back, relax, and get ready for a fun and knowledgeable show where no opinion will be held back.

Episode Eight Summary

Episode eight of Black N’ Gold Weekly is here with guest Matt McGuirk. Matt and Jon are longtime friends and played high school hockey together. They both began creating content in high school and even had a short-lived Bruins blog together back in the day. Now, Matt and Jon team up again for this episode covering the current state of the Bruins. They begin by reviewing the last couple of Bruins games and then talk about how fast the season is flying by.

Next, they discuss the recent four-game break for Boston and whether or not it’s a good or bad thing for the team. After that, they discuss the season as a whole up to this point. Matt and Jon both pick their three stars of the season so far and who they would choose to win the 7th Player Award right now. The focus then shifts away from the Bruins to the rest of the division, as the two pick who they think is the biggest threat to Boston in the East. Matt and Jon then look ahead and preview the Bruins’ games this coming week. Finally, they close out the show with their Bruins’ bet of the week.
