TD Garden, the home of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and countless other events, concerts, and benefits in the city of Boston, released the following update today on its Healthy & Safety Regulations for the upcoming 2021-2022 season. Effective on September 30th, 2021, the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics will require all guests 12 years and older to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 OR a qualifying negative COVID-19 test to gain access to the arena.

Joining dozens of other sporting and entertainment venues across the country, TD Garden expanded upon the newly updated regulations by linking people to the PLAY IT SAFE campaign on its official website:

“All guests 12 years and older must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19~ OR proof of a qualifying negative COVID-19 test* to gain entry to the arena.

Children 12 and under do not have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of qualifying negative COVID-19 test, but they are required to wear a face mask. Some events may require additional health and safety protocols, depending on requests from the artist, promoter or league. Please check your event page for more information and be sure to review all communications distributed to you prior to your event.

~Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 at least 14 days after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or at least 14 days after they have received a single-dose vaccine (e.g. Johnson and Johnson/Janssen).

*Rapid/Antigen test OR Molecular/PCR test will be accepted. Self-administered at-home rapid/antigen tests will not be accepted. Please check back on tdgarden.com/playitsafe for details on negative testing timeline requirement.
