Boston Bruins forward prospect, Anders Bjork is off to having a career year in the NCAA with the 12th ranked University of Notre Dame this season. Last night’s goal against the Holy Cross Crusaders is a perfect example of his success so far with his Fighting Irish hockey team.

The 2014 fifth round selection of the Boston Bruins is currently in his junior year of collegiate hockey and is poised to pass last season’s career high of 35 points (12-26-35) in 35 games. So far the 6′-0″ 185-pound center/left winger has appeared in 13 games contributing 9-14-23 numbers close to the halfway point of the regular season. In 89 career NCAA Men’s Hockey games, Bjork has 28-52-80 totals.

The Fighting Irish are currently involved in the Shillelagh Tournament and play unranked Clarkson University tonight at 7:35 pm from the Compton Family Ice Arena, South Bend, Indiana. The Irish are sitting in fifth place in the Hockey East Conference (7-4-2) and are way away from conference-leading Boston College who have aa commanding 11-3-1 record.
