According to Todd D. Milewski of the Wisconsin State Journal, Wisconsin Badgers forward and Boston Bruins 2016 first round draft pick Trent Frederic was injured in a practice session held yesterday (Thursday, November 17, 2016) morning at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

Badgers head coach, and former long-time NHL player Tony Granato confirmed that the first-year collegiate player will miss this weekend’s series against Merrimack College and could miss more time with an upper-body injury.
Frederic’s played in eight games this season and had contributed 10 points (4-6-10) which have him tied for the team lead with Grant Besse (3-7-10) who’s played in seven games. The 18-year-old center from St. Louis, Missouri has been a key player on special teams leading the Badger team in power-play goals (3) and shorthanded goals (1). The 6′-2″ 201-pound forward is also tied for the team lead in shots with 25.
