For those inquiring about the 2017 preseason TV schdule, long-time NESN play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards tweeted out the available games his network will be televising games through the seven-game warmup sessions. The official 2017-18 Bruins start for their 94th season in the National Hockey League is on October 5, 2017, when the B’s host the Nashville Predators from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
The game on September 21, 2017, is against the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden and can be seen on the NHL Network-US and NESN at 7pm EST. The second televised preseason game of the B’s will be on September 25, 2017, against the Chicago Blackhawks and can be viewed on NESN-Plus as Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox may have the timing rights.
The first game of the 2017 NHL Bruins preseason schedule starts tomorrow night when the B’s travel to Quebec City to face historical rival Montreal Canadiens from the recently built and heavily rumored to host an NHL Franchise, Videotron Centre.
