Jordan Binnington
Loaned to the Providence organization at the beginning of the 2017-18 season, the 2011 draft pick and the prospect of the St. Louis has had an impressive year thus far and a reliable addition to the goaltending tandem sharing time with Zane McIntyre. In 11 games played this season the Richmond Hills, Ontario Canada native has a record of 9-1-1 with a league-best (Minimum, 10 Games) 1.59 goals-against-average and second-best .938 save percentage.

The AHL veteran is currently on a career-high seven-game winning streak and has a goals-against-average of 1.10, and .953 save percentage in that timeframe. This will be the 24-year-olds first appearance in an All-Star Game dating back to when he turned pro on a full-time basis back in the 2014-15 season.

Austin Czarnik
The 25-year-old Detriot, Michigan native has had an impressive AHL career since joining the Boston Bruins organization as an undrafted free-agent. The former Captain of his University of Miami (Ohio) team signed a three-year entry-level contract back in March of 2015 after playing four-years and contributing 46-123-169 numbers in 159 games for his NCAA RedHawks team. His point-per-game style of plays hasn’t been all that different transitioning from the collegiate level to the professional ranks. In 119 career AHL games all with the Providence team, he’s posted 35-19-114 numbers. In his first-year of pro hockey with Providence, the 5′-9″ 163-pound versatile forward was selected as the AHL’s 2015-16 All-Rookie Team and earned the AHL Most Points by Rookie when he notched 61 points.

This season with Providence he leads the team with 28 points in 26 games played and is the second point-per-game player with an average of ten games played on the team behind AHL veteran Jordan Szwarz who leads with a 1.12 average. With a little more than have of the 2017-18 season remaining and how vital Czarnik’s been in the success thus far, It’s not out of the realm of thinking he could surpass his career high of 61 points at the end of this year. In his last 15 games as a top-line skater, he has 4-12-16 numbers. Austin is currently under a one-year two-way contract so he’s playing well for a surging Bruins team auditioning for a future contract somewhere in the B’s organization.
