Drip. Swag. Style. On point. Whatever you want to call it, the boys in Black and Gold have got it down to a T. As they say, there’s nothing like having a tailored suit and with the recent trip out to Philadelphia, we were reminded just how fashionable these guys really are. From Burberry to Louis Vuitton, the Bruins are no strangers when it comes looking good, and luckily for fans, you can now purchase apparel designed exclusively by some of the players.

SOMETHING FOR THE LADIES
Recently the Bruins announced a new collection of apparel geared towards women (a market the NHL is looking to expand on). A concept initially created by Stephanie Bergeron and Melanie Krug, the b&g Collection features Bruins-themed clothing and accessories that aims to be “stylish and functional.” Both Bergeron and Krug hand-selected each piece and prices range from $20-$130 dollars. Two brands that the wives have collaborated with are ’47 and Lululemon. Items include hats, sweatshirts, active-wear, and t-shirts. The best part about this collection? 10% of all sales go directly to the Boston Bruins Foundation. If you’re near the Boston area and looking for a last minute gift, you’ll find this collection at the Pro Shop on Level 2 of the Boston Garden.

HATS OFF
Not to be outdone by the ladies, the ’47 brand also teamed up with current Bruins players to help design cuff knits and caps. Each piece comes with an embroidered tag featuring the players last name and number. Those that participated include Anders Bjork, Brandon Carlo, Jake DeBrusk, Matt Grzelcyk, Danton Heinen, David Krejci, Torey Krug, Charlie McAvoy, David Pastrnak and Tuukka Rask.

Each hat features different Boston Bruins logos throughout history, ranging from the original 1924 logo to the Bruins spoked “B.” The limited-edition collection offers a range of colors and styles such as the classic black and gold to camouflage (thank you, Brandon Carlo). Aside from the snapback caps, the collection also features uniquely designed winter beanies by both David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy.

BLACK, BROWN AND GOLD
The 2019 NHL Winter Classic is set to be played at the iconic Notre Dame stadium featuring a classic match-up between the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks. Every year teams design a special jersey that are worn during the game and this year the Bruins went old-school and boy, it’s a real beauty. By now every fan has had a look at the design which is heavily influenced by the 1932-1936 version, featuring brown and gold colors. Inside the neckline, you’ll find small shamrocks (a nod to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish) marking each year the Bruins won the Stanley Cup.

As excitement keeps building for the match-up on January 1st, you can catch up on all that is Bruins starting tomorrow as the “Road To The Winter Classic“ docuseries airs at 11:30 PM E.T. The three-week program will go behind the scenes as both teams prepare for the big event.
