The Bruins’ college hockey prospects just keep humming. This past weekend was the third in a row where they’ve exceeded the previous week in cumulative scoring, this time with 10-10-20 spread across 10 different forwards, including an exhibition game, with six recording multi-point weekends. Once again, with so many points to go around, whose performances stood out the most?

Ryan Walsh (C) – Cornell – Walsh led the way for the Big Red on Saturday night with four assists in their 6-1 win over RPI, assisting on each of their first four goals. The output marked a career best scoring night for the captain, eclipsing his previous best of three points in a game, of which he had four separate occasions last season. Following the weekend, Walsh has leapfrogged Charlie Major as Cornell’s top scorer, with 3-6-9 in eight games.

Chris Pelosi (C) – Quinnipiac – Like Walsh, Pelosi also had a career game over the weekend, notching his first collegiate hat trick in a 4-1 win over Clarkson on Friday. Pelosi flashed his situational versatility by scoring on the power play, at even strength, and then capping it off with a shorthanded goal to ice the game. He added the cherry on top with an assist against St Lawrence on Saturday as the Bobcats swept their home weekend. Pelosi has been red hot in November with eight points in four games, pushing his line up to 9-6-15, leading the team in goalscoring and second in points.

Dean Letourneau (C) & James Hagens (C/LW) – Boston College – Letourneau and Hagens logged two points apiece in BC’s Friday night 7-3 romp over Maine. The duo kicked the night off by scoring on each of BC’s first two power plays, with Hagens later scoring a second goal and Letourneau tacking on an assist. The Eagles look to have found their groove after an uneven start, with Friday being the bookend of a five-game win streak in which BC averaged five goals a game. Hagens is tied for the team lead in scoring with 6-7-13, while Letourneau is right behind him with 5-6-11.

Cole Spicer (C) – Western Michigan – Spicer made a triumphant return to college hockey in Western Michigan’s weekend sweep over Omaha. In his first game since December 9th, 2023, Spicer won 10 of 14 faceoffs and recorded an assist that was later credited to another teammate. He followed up the solid introduction with a first period assist and the eventual game-winning goal on Saturday night. His integration into the Bronco lineup will be interesting to watch as they seek to defend their national title.

Looking Ahead: Pelosi & Elliott Groenewold will host Holy Cross on Wednesday night, and then Stonehill on Saturday. Mason Langenbrunner and the Crimson will welcome Michigan for a weekend series starting Friday night. Walsh will meet Jonathan Morello in the Big Apple as Cornell and Boston University face off at Madison Square Garden.

Hagens, Letourneau, Will Moore, & Kristian Kostadinski will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Conte Forum on Black Friday. Philip Svedeback and the Friars will head to Colorado Springs for a weekend series against former Providence assistant coach Kris Mayotte and the Colorado College Tigers.

Casper Nassen will head to Northern Ireland, as Miami will take on RIT, and then either Sacred Heart or Union at the Friendship Four in Belfast. Beckett Hendrickson will head to Colorado, as Minnesota faces Denver at Ball Arena on Saturday. Fresh off an exhibition weekend, Will Zellers and North Dakota will welcome Bemidji State to Grand Forks on Saturday.
