The Providence Bruins have signed their second college free agent in as many days, inking UConn forward Ryan Tattle to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) on Monday morning. Tattle, a graduating senior for the Huskies, concluded his career in Storrs following their 2-1 NCAA Tournament loss to Michigan State on Thursday.

Tattle recorded 35-42-77 in 124 games with the Huskies, including back to back 32 point seasons, helping them to consecutive CT Ice Tournament Titles, Hockey East Tournament final appearances, and qualify for the first two NCAA Tournament berths in program history.

As the top line center this past season, Tattle was one of Connecticut’s most heavily relied upon forwards in all situations. He led the team in scoring (13-19-32), faceoff wins (355), and led all forwards in time on ice (19:59). As a junior, Tattle led the most opportunistic penalty kill in the nation, scoring three of UConn’s nine shorthanded goals.

Tattle will report to Providence on his ATO to finish the season, and has signed a a one-year contract beginning in 2026-27.
