2025-2026 will be David Pastrnak’s 12th season donning the Spoked-B. Since debuting with Boston during the 2015 campaign, he has established himself as one of the most dynamic offensive talents in the National Hockey League. There are some noteworthy benchmarks the Czech winger can reach this year.

Heading into this season, three current NHL skaters—Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon, and Pastrnak —have the chance to reach the 100-point mark for the fourth consecutive year. The Bruins’ star winger can enter elite company in hockey history by hitting the century mark in points again this year.

Only 15 players have ever racked up 100 points in at least four consecutive seasons. There are two active players on the list, as Leon Draisaitl has obtained the number in the past four years, and Connor McDavid has reached the plateau in the last five campaigns. The list includes hockey royalty, as Wayne Gretzky holds the record with 13 straight 100-point seasons.

Bobby Orr holds the mark in Bruins history with six straight 100-point campaigns, as the legendary defenseman reached the threshold every season from 1970 through 1975. And as far as Bruins history is concerned, Pastrnak has a chance to pass some prominent names this season.

At 29 years old, Pastrnak is already seventh all-time in Bruins history for goals with 391. He is tenth all-time in franchise history with 442 assists and has the eighth most points with 833.

If Pastrnak pots 37 goals this season, he would move ahead of Ray Bourque, Rick Middleton, Brad Marchand, and Patrice Bergeron to become the third most prominent goal scorer in Boston’s history. Considering Pastrnak has reached that number in six of the past seven seasons, he likely ends the 2026 campaign trailing only Phil Esposito and Johnny Bucyk. Esposito buried 459 goals in Black and Gold, and Bucyk is the all-time Bruins goal scorer with 545 lamp lighters.

Pastrnak would need another phenomenal play-making campaign to supplant Middleton in assists. He would have to gather 55 apples this season to secure the sixth-most helpers in Boston’s history. But he only needs 66 total points to surge past Orr and Middleton to move into the sixth slot for career points as a Bruin.

Pastrnak’s current contract runs through the 2030-2031 season. Even with uncertainty surrounding the Bruins franchise, as it is unclear when they will get back to consistently producing playoff-caliber rosters, Pastrnak should be in Boston for the majority, if not the entirety, of the contract. Last season, he proved that he can still produce elite offensive numbers with Morgan Geekie and Elias Lindholm as his linemates. Despite opponents focusing on stopping him every night, he averaged well over a point per game.

While much of Boston’s roster remains a question mark, Bruins fans can rely on Pastrnak to consistently produce excellent offensive numbers. This season, it will be fascinating to see if Pastrnak can again reach the century mark in points and keep track of which Bruins icons he surpasses on the franchise’s scoring list.
