On Monday afternoon, the Boston Bruins announced the roster that will represent the black and gold at the 2025 Prospects Challenge at the LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo, New York, as well as the roster for the rookie camp that will begin on Wednesday, September 10, at the Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton. The rookie camp will run for two days in Boston before the team travels to western New York for the Prospects Challenge.
The roster contains 13 Bruins prospects, including Fraser Minten and Dans Locmelis, and nine additional players have been added on an invite basis.
From the Rookie Camp roster, Bruins prospects include:
Forwards – Dalton Bancroft, Cole Chandler, Ty Cheveldayoff, Riley Duran, Brett Harrison, Dans Locmelis, Fraser Minten, Jake Schmaltz, Cooper Simpson
Defensemen – Jackson Edward, Ty Gallagher, Loke Johansson
Goalie – Simon Zajicek
The Bruins extended invitations to the following players:
Forwards – Robert Cronin, Dylan Edwards, Mavrick Lachance, Emmanuel Vermette
Defensemen – Grayson Burzynski, Dylan MacKinnon, Oliver Turner, Mitch Young
Goalie – Ben Hrebik
Rookie camp begins this week, and practices at Warrior Ice Arena will be underway on Wednesday, September 10, and Thursday, September 11. The Bruins will travel to Buffalo, NY, on Thursday for the Prospects Challenge. This year will be the Bruins’ eleventh consecutive in the Prospects Challenge, but they will only play two games instead of the usual three. The Bruins open the tournament on Friday, September 12, at 3:30 p.m. when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins, followed by a game on Sunday, September 14, at 12:00 p.m., against the New Jersey Devils.
