Boston Bruins Sign Defenseman Loke Johansson to Entry-Level Contract

This afternoon, the Boston Bruins announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Loke Johansson on an entry-level contract. Johansson signed a three-year deal with the B’s, and the contract will carry an annual cap hit of $860,000.

Happy birthday to former Boston Bruin standout Ralph ‘Cooney’ Weiland. The Seaforth, Ontario native was born in 1904 and played for the team from 1928-29 through 1931-32 and again from 1935-36 through 1938-39.
