2023 NHL Free Agency: Bruins Sign Forward Morgan Geekie

Per Sportsnet’s insider, Elliote Friedman is reporting that the National Hockey League Boston Bruins have signed free-agent forward Morgan Geekie to a two-year, $2 million contract. The 24-year-old Manitoba, Canada native played the last two seasons with the Seattle Kraken, where he appeared in 142 games while posting 16-34-50 numbers.

Per Sportsnet’s National Hockey League insider, Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins have signed former Philadelphia Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk. The 34-year-old New Jersey native appeared in 61 games last season, posting 12-17-29 numbers. The deal is for one-year worth $1 million.
