When Bruins prospect James Hagens elected to return to Boston College this season, winning a Beanpot title was on his mind. After all, the Eagles had not won the event since 2016, despite producing players such as Matt Boldy, Alex Newhook, Spencer Knight, Cutter Gauthier, and Ryan Leonard during that period.
