The Boston Bruins picked up their second victory of the season this afternoon, winning in overtime, 2-1 against the Los Angeles Kings. The Bruins got goals from Elias Lindholm and overtime hero David Pastrnak, while Jeremy Swayman picked up his second win of the year, making 33 saves.

On Tuesday night, the Boston Bruins dropped their season opener at the hands of the Florida Panthers. Joonas Korpisalo made his Bruins debut and only stopped 29 of 35 shots. The 6’3″ goaltender found himself and his team in a hole after the Panthers put up four goals in the first period alone.

The wait is finally over. In light of the Boston Bruins hitting the ice on Tuesday for their 2024-25 season opener, the Bruins officially announced their opening day roster. Bruins fans will surely be happy that Jeremy Swayman’s name is on it.
