The NHL announced their rosters for the 2019 All-Star Game in San Jose on Wednesday evening. The league will return to the 3 on 3 format once again for the 64th edition of the All-Star Game. David Pastrnak was announced as the lone Bruins to be named to the Atlantic Division squad. Pastrnak earns his first appearance in his fifth season in the NHL.

Pastrnak has skated in all 40 games for the black and gold this season, posting 24 goals and 26 assists for 50 points. Pasta is coming off a season in which he played every game and totaled 35 goals and 45 assists for 80 points. He also added 20 points in the postseason on six goals and 14 assists.

The Havirov, Czech Republic native has improved his point total in the last two seasons and looks well on his way to topping 80 points this season. Pastrnak was drafted in the first round (25th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old made his debut on November 24th, 2014 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at TD Garden. Pastrnak scored his first career goal on January 10th, 2015 in Philadelphia against the Flyers, scoring twice in a Bruins victory.
