Brad Marchand was named the First Star of the Week by the NHL for the week spanning from November 18th to November 24th. The Bruins’ winger put up three goals and four assists in three games to help the Bruins put together a 3-0 week. He was able to oust both Conor McDavid (4-3-7 in 4 GP) and Brock Nelson (4-1-5) to win the award, who were the second and third stars respectively. This is the second time Marchand has been the First Star of the Week, the first dated back to the week ending on October 27th, where he beat out Roman Josi and Brian Elliot.
