The Boston Bruins announced this afternoon before the 2022 NHL Trade Deadline that the team has traded for defenseman Josh Brown and conditional 2022 seventh-round selection. Going the other way is former 2015 first-round pick Zach Senyshyn and a 2022 fifth-round pick.

Brown is a 28-year-old blueliner who was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the sixth round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. With Ottawa this season, the 6′-5″ 217-pound Ontario, Canada, native has six assists in 46 games played. Senyshyn, who’s been with the Bruins organization since 2015, has appeared in 14 career National Hockey League games posting 1-2-3 numbers. Zach spent the majority of his professional hockey years playing with the Boston Bruins top minor-pro affiliate, the Providence Bruins, where he had 59-51-110 totals in 243 career American Hockey League games.
