Prior to the matinee match-up against Central Division rival Minnesota Wild at TD Garden in Boston, the Bruins honored former Captain Zdeno Chara with a ceremonial puck drop. The black and gold donned their third jersey for the tilt and Taylor Hall’s third goal of the season powered the Bruins past the Wild with 10.1 seconds remaining in the extra frame. The Bruins have won their first four home games for the second straight season and have done so while Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy continue to rehab from off-season surgery. Boston is now 5-1-0 while Minnesota is 1-3-1.
