Per TSN Hockey Reporter Chris Johnston, the National Hockey League Boston Bruins have signed veteran defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk to a one-year, $1 million deal. The 6′-0″ 212-pound New York native played the last three seasons with the Anaheim Ducks organization. In 212 games with the Ducks, Shattenkirk posted 14-63-77 numbers and is locked in to play in his 14th NHL season.
Kevin Shattenkirk is a top-tier defenseman and will be a great addition to the Bruins defense. He will help solidify the back end and provide leadership on the ice.
