The Boston Bruins have announced a preseason schedule ahead of the 2025-2026 season. The six-game slate, which features three home matchups and three away matchups, serves as a precursor to the 82-game schedule, set to be released in July. These six games are a part of the Bruins’ training camp ahead of the upcoming season. A date for the beginning of training camp has not been announced yet.
The preseason schedule features the Bruins competing against three teams in the Metropolitan Division: the New York Rangers, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Washington Capitals. The schedule remains similar to last year’s, except for the absence of a matchup with the Los Angeles Kings in Quebec City. To open up the slate, the Bruins welcome the Capitals to TD Garden on Sunday, September 21st, at 5:00 p.m.
Boston will hit the road for its next two games, visiting the Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, September 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. After the matchup with the Rangers, the Bruins travel to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers at the newly minted Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday, September 27th, with puck drop set for 5:00 p.m.
In the second week of preseason action, the Bruins will host the Flyers on Monday, September 29th, at 7:00 p.m. before heading to the nation’s capitol to take on the Capitals on Thursday, October 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. The Bruins wrap up preseason play with a matinée matchup against the Rangers on Saturday, October 4th, at 2:00 p.m. According to a press release from the team, the broadcast schedule for these games, as well as a complete schedule for the 2025-26 season, will be released at a later date.
