Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak has established himself as one of the best players in the National Hockey League. Pastrnak has recorded four consecutive 100-point seasons, which isn’t easy for any NHL player. Pastrnak’s 71 assists and 100 points in the 2025-26 season were pivotal to help the Bruins return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Entering the 2026-27 season, Pastrnak has a chance to reach more milestones in his already impressive NHL career at age 30. So far, Pastrnak has recorded 933 points in 833 NHL games. Pastrnak has a chance to not only reach NHL milestones but also climb the Bruins’ all-time leaders in certain categories.
NHL Milestones Pastrnak Can Reach
Sixty-seven is Pastrnak’s first major number for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Pastrnak needs to play 67 games to reach 900 career NHL games played. In a twist, Pastrnak also needs to record 67 points to reach 1,000 NHL points.
Pastrnak will need to score 30 goals to reach 450 career goals and record 37 assists to reach 550 in his career. Pastrnak is also 12 even-strength goals away from reaching 300 in his career. With four consecutive 100-point seasons, there’s reason to believe Pastrnak can maintain his consistency in producing points for the Bruins.
Bruin Milestones Pastrnak Can Reach
Pastrnak has already established himself as one of the greatest Bruins of all time, having spent his entire 12-year career wearing one sweater. By the end of the 2026-27 season, Pastrnak can climb further up the all-time statistical leaders list in Bruins history, starting with points.
Pastrnak needs 34 points to surpass Brad Marchand for the fifth-most points all-time in Bruins history. If Pastrnak reaches 1,000 points, he would be the fifth player in Bruins history to do so. Because of his consistency, Pastrnak needs 70 points to surpass Phil Esposito for fourth all-time in points. If Pastrnak records 108 points, he would surpass Patrice Bergeron for the third-most points all time. Pastrnak has recorded two seasons with 110 or more points, so he is capable of surpassing Bergeron.
With 420 goals, Pastnak is moving up the Bruins’ all-time goal leaders. If Pastrnak scores three goals, he will surpass Marchand for the fourth-most in Bruins history. If Pastrnak scores eight goals, he will surpass Bergeron for the third-most all-time. If Pastrnak scores 40 goals, he will surpass Esposito for the second-most all-time, leaving only Johnny Bucyk to surpass, who scored 545 goals as a Bruin.
Pastrnak can crack the Bruins’ all-time top ten in games played. Pastrnak needs to play 49 games to surpass Rick Middleton for the tenth-most games played all time, and 59 to surpass Terry O’Reilly for the ninth-most. Pastrnak needs to play 167 games to reach 1,000 NHL games played.
Pastrnak can move up the Bruins all-time assists leaders, as he currently sits with 513 career assists. Pastrnak needs four assists to surpass Wayne Cashman for the eighth-most assists in Bruins history. Then, it’s a case of having one more number to surpass some former Bruins for Pastrnak. If Pastrnak records 41 assists, he will surpass Esposito for the seventh-most all-time. If Pastrnak records 42 assists, he will surpass Marchand for the sixth-most all-time. If Pastrnak records 43 assists, he will surpass David Krejci for the fifth-most all-time.
Pastrnak needs two even-strength goals to surpass Esposito for the third-most all-time in Bruins history, and 15 even-strength goals to surpass Marchand for the second-most all-time. Pastrnak needs one hat trick to be one of two players to record 20 hat tricks as a Bruin. Pastrnak also needs to record two game-winning goals to be one of four Bruins to score 70 game-winning goals.
With Pastrnak leading the way offensively, the Bruins will always have someone to rely on for point production. The Bruins saw Pastrnak carry the offense deep last season, and there’s even more reason to be excited about what he can do with JJ Peterka after the Bruins acquired him from the Utah Mammoth. The 2026-27 season can see Pastrnak reach impressive milestones in his 13th NHL season.
