Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak has established himself as one of the best players in the National Hockey League. In his 12-year NHL career, Pastrnak has recorded 933 points in 833 games. Pastrnak continued his successful career, and his play this season has been well-received. Today, it was announced that Pastrnak was named a 2026 Second Team All-Star.

Pastrnak recorded 100 points, being one of only seven NHL players this season to hit the 100-point mark. Pastrnak’s 71 assists this season also set a new career-high for him in a single season. Pastrnak joined Washington Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard, Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon, and Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield as the other Second Team All-Stars.

2026 marks the third consecutive year in which Pastrnak has made NHL Second Team All-Star honors. Including his two First Team All-Star honors in 2020 and 2023, Pastrnak now has five combined NHL All-Star Team selections in his career. This season was one of the better seasons in Pastrnak’s career to help the Bruins return to the playoffs after missing out in 2025.

Pastrnak recorded his fourth consecutive 100-point season, leading the Bruins with 71 assists and 100 points. Pastrnak was sixth in the NHL this season in assists. Despite being eliminated by the Sabers in the first round in six games, Pastrnak continued his excellent regular season by leading the Bruins with three goals, four assists, and seven points during the 2026 playoffs.

Along with now recording 933 points in his career, Pastrnak also eclipsed the 400-goal and 500-assist mark. Pastrnak made the highlight reel often this season with his incredible play. Now, Pastrnak will be eager to build off of another excellent season into the 2026-27 season for the Bruins.
