The Professional Women’s Hockey League announced that the Boston Fleet have acquired F Ella Huber and pick #27 from PWHL Detroit in exchange for picks #22 and #34.

The move comes less than 24 hours after Huber signed a one-year contract with Detroit. In her rookie season with Boston, she appeared in all 30 games, recording four goals and two assists. Though she did not find the back of the net often, she made sure her goals counted, and three of them were game-winning.

The Fleet will now only make five selections in the 2026 PWHL Entry Draft, losing their third-round pick completely. They will have picks #10, #27, #46, #58, and #70.
