The 2025-26 American Hockey League season was historic for the Providence Bruins, who won the MacGregor Kilpatrick Trophy as the AHL’s best team with 110 points. However, the season ended in huge disappointment when Providence was eliminated by the Springfield Thunderbirds in four games in the 2026 Atlantic Division Semifinals. Providence’s roster will look different next season, as goaltender Michael DiPietro is expected to be Jeremy Swayman’s backup for the Boston Bruins.
Along with DiPietro’s rise, Providence has seen additions and subtractions to its roster this offseason, including the loss of captain Patrick Brown. Even with losses to the roster, Providence will have huge motivation to bounce back after losing to Springfield in the 2026 playoffs. Providence’s 2026-27 season schedule was officially announced today. This upcoming season marks Providence’s 35th season in franchise history. Now, it’s time to take a look at the games to circle on Providence’s schedule for this upcoming season.
