Bruins Goaltender Swayman Added to Team USA Men’s IIHF World Championships Roster

This evening USA Hockey announced that the Men’s National Team had added Boston Bruins rookie goaltender Jeremy Swayman to join the 2022 IIHF Team USA World Championships roster. The tournament from the Helsinki and Tampere regions of Finland started this past Friday, May 13th, and finishes on Sunday, May 29th.

Boston Bruins Sign Jakub Zboril to a Two-Year Extension

On Monday morning, the Boston Bruins and General Manager Don Sweeney announced that they’ve officially signed defenseman Jakub Zboril to a two-year extension following their first-round exit to the Carolina Hurricanes. Zboril’s two-year contract extension comes at a reasonable annual cap hit of $1,137,500 through the 2024 NHL season.
