Ivan Huml  9-6-81

The 6′-2″ 198-pound winger showed some tremendous promise as the Kladno, Czech Republic native was drafted in the second round (59th Overall) of the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft. After increased year-to-year progression in his development overseas, the crafty skilled forward was heavily advised to take his talents per say to … Keep Reading

Last week, I started my 2017-18 Bruins’ prospect pyramid project (say that 5 times fast…) with a resounding bang. You can find Part 1 here. Granted, the bang was literally a piece only on Charlie McAvoy (spoilers!), but I digress. To blatantly borrow a brilliant idea from one Steve Dangle, I have decided to build a prospect pyramid, rather than a ranking or list. Honestly, one could quibble over the exact placing of prospects on a list for hours, and it really isn’t worth the argument over such minuscule differences in opinion. Instead, I have provided 5 tiers … Keep Reading

Many Bruins writers are publishing their own roster predictions for the upcoming 2017-18 National Hockey League season, so I thought I’d throw my two cents out there with mine and an explanation of why for each line. With today’s news of forward, Drew Stafford signing a one-year deal with the New Jersey Devils, the Bruins roster is seemingly starting to take shape … Keep Reading

For the longest time, the Boston Bruins would use the Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Massachusetts as a practice facility and summer offseason development camps and Main camps for close to thirty years but now with an updated training regiment for today’s athletes, a facility upgrade was much needed. The Ristuccia housed the B’s training events in a facility that was 7,900 sq … Keep Reading

Last season the American Hockey Leagues Providence Bruins surprised many in the Calder Cup Playoffs as a fourth-seeded team in the Eastern Conference after posting a 43-23-6-4 2016-17 regular season record and won the first two rounds against teams that have burdened them in recent postseason play. Beating the powerful Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins who were … Keep Reading
