The Boston Bruins have selected center Cole Chandler with the 133rd overall pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. Chandler hails from Bedford, Nova Scotia, and has played for the Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL) for the last two seasons.

Boston Bruins Select Vashek Blanár with 100th Overall Pick

The Boston Bruins used the 100th overall selection on Colorado-born Czech defenseman Vashek Blanár, also known as Vashen Richards. Blanár stands at 6’4” and weighs 183 lbs. He played last season for IF Troja-Ljungby in Sweden.

Boston Bruins Select Cooper Simpson 79th Overall in 2025 NHL Entry Draft

The Bruins traded down from the 69th overall selection. The team added picks #79 and #108. With the 79th selection, the Bruins add Minnesota-native Cooper Simpson. With their second draft pick of the second round, the Boston Bruins select defenseman Liam Pettersson with the 61st overall pick. Pettersson, hailing from Gislaved, Sweden, joins the Bruins organization after spending the last four years with the Växjö Lakers youth teams.
