This afternoon Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney announced that the team has signed Swedish defense prospect Victor Berglund to a three-year, entry-level contract (ELC). Per CapFriendly, the deal carries an average annual value (AAV) of $850,833 and a cap hit of $818,333.

Boston Bruins prospect Jakub Lauko appeared to have injured his right leg during his first shift for the Czech Republic at the 2020 World Junior Championship. The forward was trying to control the puck as he skated through center-ice, before being taken down by a trailing Russian forechecker and colliding with another Russian defender.

Wednesday morning, USA Hockey named the 26-player preliminary roster for the 2020 World Junior Championship, which will be held in the Czech Republic. Among the skaters named to the roster were Bruins prospects John Beecher and Curtis Hall.

Providence Bruins general manager John Ferguson Jr. announced Thursday afternoon that the team has recalled goaltending prospect Kyle Keyser from the Atlanta Gladiators, Boston’s ECHL-affiliate. Providence recalling Keyser comes after Dan Vladar needed to be helped off the ice during the second period of the P-Bruins’ 5-4 shootout loss to the Laval Rocket on Wednesday night.
