Edward Michael Sandford, born on August 20th, 1928, was a professional hockey player who played for the Boston Bruins from 1947-1955. Sandford was an outstanding hockey player for the Bruins and even served as the Bruins team captain during the 1954-1955 season after Milt Schmidt retired the prior season.
