The Boston Fleet have announced their 2026-27 training camp roster today, featuring 29 players who will hit the ice in November. The roster features the 19 players under contract with the club, as well as three of their 2026 draftees and seven invites.
“We’re excited to have our training camp roster set and to get everyone together in Boston,” said Boston Fleet General Manager Danielle Marmer. “We’re looking forward to seeing who embraces that competition, fits our style of play and shows they can be a part of the identity we’re continuing to build here in Boston.”
Training camps will open on November 18, after the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Denmark concludes. They’ll play two scrimmages during Thanksgiving Week (in the United States), first hosting the New York Sirens followed by the Montréal Victoire.
Forwards
The 15 forwards is mostly made up of Fleet players, with 11 already signed for the 2026-27 season. Jenna Goodwin and Jaden Bogden, who were both drafted by Boston during the 2026 Professional Women’s Hockey League Entry Draft.
Goodwin last played with Frölunda HC in the Swedish Women’s Hockey League. She posted a 9-4-13 in 26 games played. Bogden is already familiar with Boston, and comes to the Fleet from Northeastern University. She played two seasons with the Huskies, recording 36 points.
Another familiar Boston face is Luisa Welcke, who spent three seasons at Boston University. She and her twin sister, Lilli, who is invited to Minnesota Frost camp, recently signed with Mad Dogs Mannheim but will still be on the ice for the PWHL come November.
Closing out the forwards is Sarah Marchand, though no apparent relation to another Boston hockey legend, Brad Marchand. Marchand joins from MoDo Hockey of the SDHL. Across 36 games, she recorded 25 points.
Last season, the Fleet roster had 14 forwards, which included one forward reserve player. We’ll expect to see much more depth added to their forwards, with only 11 under contract so far. With a mostly veteran group, younger players can jump in with skill and learn from some of the best.
Defenders
The nine defenders are mostly new faces for the Boston Fleet, outside of Megan Keller, Haley Winn, and Rylind MacKinnon. Olivia Zafuto also received a camp invite after suiting up for six games as a reserve player in 2025-26.
They’ve already signed Grace Dwyer and Leah Stecker who were two of their 2026 PWHL Draft picks. We’ll see where Head Coach François Methot thinks they’ll fit best. Kris Sparre toyed around with partnering Winn and Keller but also breaking them up. This season could see them each getting a younger partner.
Rounding out their draftees is Maeve Kelly from Boston University. She played her entire collegiate career with the Terriers and recorded 29 points in 139 total games.
Amanda Boulier is joining Boston’s blueline this season. The 33-year-old is coming off of a Walter Cup win with the Montréal Victoire. In her 30 games last season, she put up three assists and had a career-high 44 blocks. Her veteran status will be a huge guide for a rather young d-corps.
Vivian Hinch was invited to camp after a solid five seasons with St. Francis Xavier University of USports. Last season, she played a career-high 23 games and posted a 1-9-10.
Last season, the Fleet had ten defenders throughout the regular season. It was one of their highlights, led by Keller and Winn, but keeping up with them proved challenging. They finished first and second, respectively, in time on ice during the season.
Goaltenders
Aerin Frankel was the best last season, winning both the 2026 Goaltender of the Year and Most Valuable Player. She kept the Fleet in it all season long, and though she stumbled in the playoffs, her stats spoke for themself. Of the 30-game regular season, she played in 26 games. Abby Levy slotted in for three games, but she is now signed with PWHL San Jose.
Amanda Thiele is signed with the Fleet through the upcoming season. In her one game, she posted a 0.913 SV% that clinched a playoff berth for Boston. She will likely serve as Frankel’s primary backup this season, dressing for the majority of games.
The Fleet invited three NCAA goalies to complete the training camp roster, all of whom played for Massachusetts programs.
Abby Hornung joins after spending four seasons with the College of the Holy Cross. During the 2024-25 season, she played in 26 games and recorded a 1.90 GAA and a .940 SV%. In 2025-26, she played 24 games and recorded a 1.88 GAA and a .933 SV%.
Lindsay Reed will come to camp after not suiting up since 2021-22 with Harvard University. She holds a 2.45 GAA and a .927 SV% for her Crimson career.
The Fleet also invited Natalie Stott, who reigns as the NCAA leader for save percentage across all leagues, all divisions, both men and women with a .960 SV%.
