The Boston Bruins have officially signed star winger David Pastrnak to an eight-year contract extension with an AAV of 11.25 million per year. The 26-year-old is having yet another dynamite season for the Bruins, with 42 goals and 38 assists for 80 points in 60 games played this season.

The Boston Bruins have acquired left winger Tyler Bertuzzi from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a 2024 1st-round pick (top-ten protected) and a 2025 4th-round pick. The Red Wings will also retain 50 percent of Bertuzzi’s salary in the trade.
