Bruins D Brandon Carlo Week-To-Week With Upper Body Injury

NHL Postpones Next Two Bruins Games

The National Hockey League announced Friday that it has postponed the Boston Bruins games against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, Mar. 20, and against the New York Islanders on Tuesday, Mar. 23. Four additional Bruins players have entered the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

The National Hockey League announced Thursday that the Willie O’Ree’s No. 22 will be retired by the Boston Bruins on Jan. 18, 2022 – exactly 64 years after O’Ree broke the NHL’s color barrier. The ceremony was originally set to take place on Feb. 18 before Boston’s game against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden.

Bruins’ Sweeney Named Team Canada Assistant GM

Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has been named an assistant general manager for Team Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Hockey Canada also announced Wednesday that St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong would serve in the same role for Canada at the Olympics.
