This afternoon, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced that their most recent call-up, forward Peter Cehlarik, has been assigned to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

Bruins Issue Update On Forward Bjork

On Friday morning, the Bruins issued an injury update on Anders Bjork who had missed time in Providence due to a shoulder injury. Bjork underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder which was performed at Massachusetts General Hospital. His expected recovery time is approximately five to six months.
