Three Players The Boston Bruins Will Have To Time Manage This Season

By: Andrew Thompson                                                                  Twitter:@godwentwhoops

The Boston Bruins will be going into the 2017-18 season with high expectations. The B’s got themselves back into the playoffs and are looking for a deeper run this year. While the Bruins roster (David Pastrnak permitting) looks like they can achieve this goal, there are a few players the organization are going to have to watch (and carefully manage) if they … Keep Reading

Niklas Svedberg   9-4-89

The story of Svedberg started off with great promise as a possible steal for the Boston Bruins as he was heavily scouted out of the Swedish Elite League and signed as an undrafted free agent to a three-year entry-level deal in May of 2012. Bruins management and scouts looked like geniuses after completing his first year of North American … Keep Reading

Boston Bruins 2017-18 Roster Predictions

By: Mark Allred                 Follow Me On Twitter @BlackAndGold277

Many Bruins writers are publishing their own roster predictions for the upcoming 2017-18 National Hockey League season, so I thought I’d throw my two cents out there with mine and an explanation of why for each line. Tuukka Rask ‘100 Percent Ready’ for Training Camp

Tuukka Rask had a decent 2016-17 season for the Boston Bruins. Although hampered by several injuries throughout the year, the 30-year old Rask went 37-20-5 (37 wins being his personal best) in Boston with a 2.23 GAA and a .915 save percentage. He was also a key player in the B’s having the best penalty kill (85.7%) last season.

While Rask was one of the main reasons the Bruins … Keep Reading

With the Boston Bruins recently in China as part of Bruins global, it gave us the chance to look back at other times the NHL has traveled outside of North America. Such as when in 2010 six NHL teams played in Europe. This involved the Bruins who played two games against the Coyotes, (splitting the series … Keep Reading

Last week, website teammate Andrew Thompson wrote an article about the Boston Bruins signing of both prospect goaltenders Zane McIntyre and Malcolm Subban to two-year two-way deals to solidify the depth in the crease throughout the organization. Whether liked or not starting netminder Tuukka Rask is locked up for the next four seasons, and backup … Keep Reading
