Show summary
There were games this week! For the first time in their podcasting careers, Ryan and Leon have some actual Bruins games to break down. The pair introduced their patent-pending evaluation method focusing on formative evaluation (narratives and numbers), process evaluation (how is the team trending toward its goals), player evaluations (identifying who stood out positively or negatively), and tactical analysis (the Xs and Os). It’s not as nerdy as it sounds! Before and after their excitement about actual NHL games, the duo also took time to shout out Willie O’Ree and discuss women’s professional hockey. They finish the show with a whip around the league including the Keith Yandle situation, nuances of the salary cap, and hockey players being overgrown children.
