The Boston Bruins have selected center Cole Chandler with the 133rd overall pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. Chandler hails from Bedford, Nova Scotia, and has played for the Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL) for the last two seasons.

The NHL Central Scouting ranking listed Chandler as #172 among North American skaters. He is described as a worker who effectively feeds his teammates and reacts quickly to what is going on around him on the ice. He is also a net-front presence, scoring many goals in and around the crease. He is 6’2” and 176 lbs and shoots with his left hand.

This season, Chandler scored 13 goals and added 19 assists in his 64 regular-season games for the Cataractes, and he added five goals and seven assists in their playoff campaign. Chandler is the first Canadian that the Bruins have selected in this draft. The Bruins are busy adding centers to their prospect pool this weekend, as Chandler joins James Hagens and William Moore as the centers from the draft class.
