The Boston Bruins have announced several roster cuts coming ahead of the Bruins’ final exhibition of the preseason. They announced their roster for tonight’s game earlier today, and it’s certainly a National Hockey League-regular heavy roster, featuring the names we’ll likely see on opening night.
The Bruins released a press release, announcing the players that will report to the Providence Bruins’ training camp, the players that were assigned to Providence, and the players that were placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Providence. The list is as follows:
Joey Abate will report to Providence Bruins Training Camp.
Attilio Biasca and Ivan Ivan have been assigned to Providence.
Brendan Gaunce, Brian Halonen, Jordan Harris, Jiri Patera and Billy Sweezey have been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Providence.
This is the third round of roster cuts that have come out of the Bruins’ condensed training camp. Yesterday, we saw Simon Zajicek get assigned to Providence, Max Guenette was placed on waivers on Wednesday, and the first round of cuts came after the Bruins’ first preseason game against the Washington Capitals.
