Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy revealed this morning that Brad Marchand is dealing with an upper body injury and will be unavailable for Saturday’s game in Buffalo against the Sabres. Marchand likely suffered the injury during last night’s game against the New Jersey Devils.

Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy announced this morning that Charlie McAvoy will miss tonight’s game against the New Jersey Devils with an lower body injury sustained most likely in the Bruins most recent game against the Carolina Hurricanes last Sunday.

Boston Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy said on Sunday that Patrice Bergeron could rejoin the rest of his Bruins teammates for a full practice this Wednesday. Bergeron returning to the lineup is a possibility after practicing with the team. Obviously, their star center returning to the lineup would be the ultimate Christmas gift for the injury-riddled Bruins.

Zdeno Chara injured his left knee Wednesday night during the second period of a loss to the Avalanche in Colorado. Chara cut his road trip short, traveling back to Boston to be evaluated by team medical staff.
