Today, the National Hockey League announced the three stars for the month of March and once again, a Boston Bruins player is on the select list.

Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid earned the first star, Bruins forward Brad Marchand earned the second star and Anaheim Ducks forward John Gibson was named the third star of the month.

According to his sources, Joe McDonald of the Boston Sports Journal is reporting that Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo suffered a broken left fibula in this afternoons 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers.
