The Boston Bruins should be expecting a few familiar faces to return from injury this week as the regular season winds down. So the question must be asked who will play and who will sit?
As Charlie McAvoy made his return last night in the 4-0 losing effort against the Tampa Bay Lightning, there are injury updates from Head … Keep Reading

According to his sources, Joe McDonald of the Boston Sports Journal is reporting that Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo suffered a broken left fibula in this afternoons 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers.
The injury happened when Carlo was in the defensive corner going after the puck one-on-one with the Florida’s Aleksander Barkov midway through the third period. Carlo’s left skate … Keep Reading

Part of that last bit comes with shrewd and thoughtful spending … Keep Reading

More than the “Trade Tuukka” chants, or the “Deal Krug” narrative, I have been most perplexed and frustrated by the trend of Bruins fans to constantly bring down Brandon Carlo. Carlo is a bonafide Top 4 defenseman in this league, does plenty well, and as soon as he makes a 21-year-old mistake (oh yeah, buried the lede here – HE’S STILL ONLY 21), people jump … Keep Reading
