On the Bruins’ recent West Coast road trip, we’ve heard a lot about the teams’ lack of physicality and how it could be a crucial thing missing from the lineup come playoff time. We’ve heard a lot about how the Bruins lack a true tough guy from the same mold as a Shawn Thornton-type player. Certainly, with … Keep Reading

By: Andrew Thompson                                                                Twitter: @godwentwhoops

The Boston Bruins have had a very unusual season.

The Black and Gold started out in a rough patch due to the loss of so many senior players. As the season progressed, the 2017-18 B’s had to overcome a serious boatload of injuries. The team roster often found itself inundated with AHL players in order to overcome their shortcomings on their current roster.… Keep Reading

What’s The Best First-Round Matchup For The Boston Bruins?

By: Max Mainville   |   Follow Me On Twitter @tkdmaxbjj

A few days ago, I made a poll on my Twitter account, (follow it for the latest news), asking Bruins fans which team they would rather see the Bruins play in the first round of the upcoming 2018 NHL Playoffs. The poll results did not come as a surprise, as the majority of fans wanted to see Boston/New Jersey, mainly feeling … Keep Reading

Resilience. Described by Merriam-Webster as the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. History has had its share of resilient feats, and the 2017-2018 Bruins team is one in the making.

It’s safe to say that the Boston Bruins are no strangers of misfortune or change. By the end of … Keep Reading

It may sound absolutely ridiculous/manic/borderline insane to even attempt to ask Bruins fans if they are worried about their team headed into the playoffs.

Boston is currently one point out of first place in the Atlantic Division, with one game in hand and with two matchups left against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the last two weeks of the regular season.  The … Keep Reading

In my ongoing series of columns surrounding the remaining Bruins regular season and expectations, today I’m going to dive into their most recent stretch of road games. As stated in the previous installment, this past week was a sizable test for the banged-up B’s as they traveled to St. Louis, Dallas, Minnesota, and Winnipeg. All of … Keep Reading
